Coach Kupchin states, “We were ready! We had a lot of great practices the week before. The girls started passing very well and they hustled. We need to work on being able to run for 20 minutes.” When asked what has been the most challenging thing so far this season, Coach Kupchin said, “Time management!”

Julissa Bolivar was ready to play. “I always am because I love soccer and playing with the team! I think we did alright, but we need to work more on passing and focus on the game. We did some good passing and we were communicating pretty well. We could be more direct with our passing and communicating more.” The most challenging thing? “Staying on task at practice–not goofing around!”

Kate Arambula was kinda of nervous, but ready. “I think we could have done better and had a higher score than we had. We were playing aggressive in the second half. We’re struggling with speed—running faster. The most challenging thing in season for me is keeping up with the team which I mean running more.

Michelle Resendez said, ”I was sorta not ready for the game because I practiced to be goalie and I was sorta not ready.” What do you think about the game? “I like the challenge. Our team strengths are good defense and midfield. Everyone is doing what they’re supposed to do. That’s why we win! We need to work getting back and helping the defense.” What is the most challenging thing so far this season? “The most challenging thing I’ve had to do this season is being prepared for the ball when it is going to be kicked.”
